I worked on this project during my time at Tata Elxsi, TV UI/UX have use cases where the Interaction was primarily through the remote, with the ACT's new device the remote has to be mimicked in Digital UI that was one challenging part of the UX for visual feed back and The UI for ACT was designed with constraints. which I would love discuss offline

My learnings
UX/UI guidelines of smart TV's are there for a reason Android TV, Apple TV and Samsung guidelines are a great source to begin with.
Use cases for hardware and Software may seem easier however the slight lag in interaction can be harmful
4K and 8k TV's reproduce colors vividly, however the experience is totally different with lowered
480p Standard
720p HD
1080p Full HD
4k 2160p Ultra HD researching on this was highly useful to communicate to the dev team
